        Rip's impressions

Just be glad its 500 pages shorter than Ulysses; not even Joyce would stretch it farther. A conundrum of languages, the most non-sensical novel of the century––far surpassing Pynchon's Rainbow. Reserving this to be the last book I ever read -- literally -- it will be with me on my death bed.

        first line

        last lines
